This game definatly turned out to be quite the dissapointment. After the first two missions, everything goes downhill.

User Rating: 6.5 | Call of Duty: Finest Hour GC
Call of Duty: Finest Hour, for consoles is a bit of a disappointment. First off, don’t get mixed up with this game’s PC counter part, just because you found the PC version great, does not mean you will like the consol version. Graphics: The graphics for this game, I have to say, are fairly decent. All the models look detailed, the textures are nice, and even with the good particle effects, the game still keeps a steady frame rate. Sound: The sound is done well also, all the music fits the atmosphere well, the explosion and gun sounds all sound realistic, and you can hear your comrades and your enemies shouting to each other in battle. Gameplay: The AI for both your allies and your enemies seem to be well done… Unfortunately, the positive gameplay aspects end there. Although the missions take place in various different landscapes, they become repetitive and boring, making the missions feel like a chore to beat, rather than something fun. And although the AI is decent, everything else about your allies goes downhill. First off, you have the choice to use your medic kits on your allies or yourself. But since half of your allies can not die, and once one of them actually does, another guy comes running out of nowhere to fill his position, this seems like a pretty pointless feature. And to top all of this off, the grenades in this game are unusable as their physics are something from a totally different planet. Value: Unless you set the difficulty level to the extreme, this game will last you somewhere around 10 hours. And for the Gamecube version, there is no multiplayer option of any type what so ever. Overall, if you are one of those die hard WW2 shooter fans, you may be able to enjoy this game, but for the rest of us, do yourself a favor by staying away from this game, or at the bare minimum, rent it first before you waste your money buying it.
