A game that doesn't get the credit it deserves

User Rating: 8 | Call of Duty: Finest Hour GC
I recently have been reading some reviews on this game and to my personal opinion they are totally wrong.
If you were a true fan of the Call of Duty franchise, then you would have picked up it up in 2004 when it came out and judged it from there not now after playing the newer games on the next gen consoles (This is only in reference to Reviewers who have actually done this - not to those who played this game first before the others and still didn't like it as much). On with the review:

Call of Duty: Finest Hour came out during the holiday season of 2004. It gave gamers a different outlook on gameplay by providing them the opportunity to play on 3 different campaigns (American, Russian, British) all with the allied forces. You even got to fight in North Africa at one point as true to history.

Gameplay (7.0) - I can understand at some moments you had to be perfectly lined up with your target in a distant window in order to take them out but the gameplay is great. Buildings are constantly being blown up around you giving you the real WWII experience and bullets are taking your fellow comrades out as you cross over into enemy lines. There could have been a bit more weapon variety from what I remember but it still gave gamers a great experience.

Sound (9.0) - Awesome sound that makes you feel like your right in the battle

Graphics (7.0) - Ok yes the graphics are outdated. But that still shouldn't stop you from picking up this game. There are many moments where you actually feel what the character you control is feeling based on the graphics and environment around you.

Overall (8.0) - Guys this game is what started the Call of Duty! I know everyone loves Modern Warfare as do I and WWII is outdated in platforming today, but this game is what started it all in franchise. I strongly suggest you try it and pick it up. Its well worth the money spent.
