The first Call of Duty to appear on consoles was a huge dissapointment.

It has been a while since I finished this game, but I do remember that it was a huge dissappointment to me. My main complaint would have to be the graphics and gameplay. To keep it short on the graphics the game just did not look good and the buggy animations just made it hard to get into the game. I just couldn't get same same feel for the gunfighting as I did in Medal of Honor: Frontline or even Medal of Honor: EA. That is a testiment to the gameplay, graphics, and sound. Although the sound didn't suffer as much as the graphis and gameplay. This is disappointing since the storyline is preety engaging. You fight from the perspectives of three different soldiers from three differnent countries fighting the Nazi's. This was refreshing and made the overall experience fun and interesting to be in three different environments such as Stalingrad, North Africa, and Germany. Although I thought the British portion was rather short. It just didn't stack up to Frontline which I have always thought to be one of the best WW2 shooters for the PS2, not even a little. Great story ruined by horrible gameplay.
