This game is a great WWII FPS that stays true to Call of Duty's roots without sacrificing much.

User Rating: 8.4 | Call of Duty: Finest Hour XBOX
Story- 9/10: Call of Duty: Finest Hour is very similar to its PC predecessors. Once again, it puts you in the roles of American, British, and Russian troops alike. Only this time, instead of just one soldier from each country, it goes through multiple characters. Such as a Russian sniper, a British commando, and an American tank commander, among others.

Gameplay- 8/10: The characters move a bit slower than they did in the PC games, but it's not that big of a deal. Sometimes, though, it can mean the difference between surviving and getting killed, but it's not often. They did a nice job porting the game as far as control setup goes though. It's one of those games where you don't really have to think about pressing the right buttons, you just do, because the controls are so fluid.

Graphics- 8/10: Graphically, the game isn't that great; the original Call of Duty had much more to offer in terms of visuals. But it's not so frustrating to the point where you want to pull your hair out, so you just have to bear with it.

Sound- 8/10: Again, this is where it lacks something that the PC version had. I mean, the sounds are decent, but they aren't the best. Kindof like the Xbox port of Counter-Strike.

Value- 9/10: It's a pretty lengthy game. I'd say it took me around 20 hours of play time to complete. Once you're done with the single player campaign, though, you can go on Xbox Live and play with other people. So, that's a good feature. I was kindof disappointed that it didn't have split screen multiplayer though, because I don't have Xbox Live. I mean, how much longer would it have taken for the developers to put in an offline multiplayer, you know? But overall, it's a good game.

Note: This is NOT a direct port of the PC game. It's a totally different game.
