When your looking for a WWII game what are you looking for? Well whatever it is Call of duty: Finest Hour, is sure to have a little of it for you. It focus's on sticking true to what actually happened in the war.
It had good graphics, and all in all it was just a fun game to play.

A lot of the time you get a WWII game that goes off pace from what actually happened in WWII. To me that's a disgrace to the war itself. When I'm looking for a game where it relates to a war, I want that war. Not some cheesy knock off love story POS. For instance, when you go into ramagen looking for the bridge over the rhine so as to be able to move mass amounts of troops and armored infantry into Germany. Well, guess what? That actually happened.

Also, what's great about this game is that the graphics didn't take a dive as some did. To me if you look at BIA the graphics when backwards with the times. Well Call of Duty did a good job of keeping the graphics at a satisfactory level. I'm not saying they're great, I'm saying that they're decent enough to relay the message of the war nicely. The sound effects are the best part though. You can hear the bullet hit the ground next to you, and depending on the different sound it made, you can actually judge distance. In order to do this you would have to have logged hours upon hours on this game(like I ddi),

The game really got you sucked in. It's a hard game to set down once you really start to get going with it. It got me in so far that I would sit there and play it for one night straight. Even my sister got into it. She was playing it even more than I was, and I wouldn't put the controller down.

The one complaint that I could make as to why you wouldn't buy it is that, it is a basic first person shooter with really no learning curve at all(unless you're new to the gaming realm). It was seemingly too short when you beat it the first time, but if you look back on it you relize that the only reason it was short was because you sat there for 5 hours a day and did nothing but play the game.

All in all I think that purchasing Call of Duty: Finest Hour would be good for anyone that likes either, first person shooters, or anyone that likes WWII games. If you're an advocate of either of those, I would pick up this game tomorrow, and I know that you'd have a blast with it.
