COD another year, another title, another same engine, same everything other than maps, loadouts and guns.
So my friend gave me this for free till he finds a XBone copy and it going to trade it in for $10 at gamestop.
Until then I have the amazing priviledge of owning this game.
It sucks. I can't explain it any better than that. I like how they attempted to change the game with destructive environments. Like knocking over a tree to hop across an area. It's so basic it's actually sad.
This series needs a complete overhaul from scratch but OH WAIT! Ghosts actually sold MORE copies than any other game out to date. Do you think they will next year Treyarch? NO! It's a waste of money for them so spend millions in new research and development if people keep buying this same game since 2008 (Modern Warfare I).
The good:
-Maps are bigger and less chaotic I find. This is a huge plus esp if you like to snipe.
-NO UAV's! most killstreaks are now land based which leads to less cheap kills. I'm a fan of this one.
-Insane amount of perks and items/weapons can be unlocked from LOW ranks with squad coins you earn. Cool.
the BAD:
Other than what was mentioned...everything else. Especially the guns. They feel weak and do not feel real whatsoever. Most of the choices they picked are futuristic models. Side arm handguns are basically all garbage.
Added game modes are a joke. I did not find any of them enjoyable. TDM, domination and Kill confirmed are the only decent modes. They eliminated Big Team battle which is a HUGE letdown esp with these added large maps.
Think im wrong? Go to your local Gamestop and you will notice a giant pile of used Ghosts title on there shelves. I've witnessed this myself!
