In my opinion, Call of Duty 4 was the greatest game of all time. Every single time I got into a lobby for a multiplayer match, I got excited. People are going to hate no matter what. If the game is too much like the original then they are going to complain about that, if they made alot of changes....complaints are going to fly in. The formula works, it is amazing...the single player is off the hook....multiplayer is the bomb....so much fun
As far as hype goes, Dragon Age Origins, Halo, those are the games that need hype. Call of Duty speaks for itself. Good times, quit hatin, and I would be surprised to see what games the people who write bad reviews about this game are playing. I notice RPG players usually hate on the shooters, it's not about the story, which by the way is awesome, it's about the action.
