A game with a fun, but sometimes boring campaign, and a buggy yet addictive multiplayer.
Let's start off with the campaign. It's not your typical story-driven campaign, but an action-packed, fast-paced story mode. During this mode, you are placed in different units as you fight to save America from a terrorist named Makarov, and Russia. The campaign's main focus isn't the story, and it shows. It's full of plot holes and sometimes I was so confused that I had no idea what I was fighting for. The gameplay is somewhat fun, there's always action, but sometimes your stuck shooting waves of enemies and it gets a little repetitive. There were a few times when I had more fun killing my teammates than actually playing the campaign.
The multiplayer is obviously the main focus, here. There are tons of weapons, attachments, perks, and others. The killstreaks are even better, and there's a new addition called a Tactical Nuke that kills everybody and ends the game. There are lots of game modes, from Team Deathmatch to Capture the Flag. The multiplayer is fun, but it's very buggy. I've seen guys shoot me around corners, you can get out of maps, and there are hackers. The multiplayer gets boring after a while, though.
In conclusion, MW2 is an OK game. It's action-packed but repetitive. Good-bye.
