Hav'nt had this fun with a campaign since Gears of war 2. But way to short.
In addition to those games it's nice with some more fast-phased action games from time to time, and as mentioned in the review deck i love the 'Gears of war' series and MW2 kind of reminded me of that one with the non-stop action and occasionally chilling atmosphere.
However, as you probably already know the campaign is SHORT. Took me about 4h30m on regular difficulty, but this 4h30m was some of the best gaming experiences i had with a single player, i also have a friend over who loved the first MW so he just wanted to "test" it until he had the cash to buy his own copy, and he went trough the campaign in one sitting with a big grin on his face.
Now, i don't care much about multiplayer for this type of games so the longevity for someone like me is almost absent for the price i've payed for this and i am going sell my copy while the game is still hot.
But again, try it! Do as my friend did and visit someone with a copy and ask for 4-5 hours at his computer, you'll have a blast, a short blast.
