There are many better ways to spend 40 quid.

If ever there was a game that highlighted the decline of PC gaming them Modern Warfare 2 is that game. The no dedicated servers has been mentioned to death, so what you're left with is a game no longer than a fart in the wind.

Gamespot recently did a graphic comparison of the 3 versions & the fact that the PC version is only slightly better looking than the aging console versions shows how stuck in a rut PC gaming is. Poor folks who spend hundreds on these flash video cards only to have them hardly flexed must be very annoying. I can max most games on a 8800gt which just shows the lack of advancement in visuals for games if a 2 plus year old card is still doing the biz.

Sure MW 2 has plenty of mind blowing moments in single player & the frenetic pace is in keeping with previous games but it's all over too soon & far less satisfying than the original MW. Plus the airport level now seems like a terrible idea rather than just a strange one. Skip a level in an already disgracefully short overpriced game? Yeah right.

My advise is do not buy this game for PC. Borrow, rent or steal this rip off or you'll be the mug with less funds to spend on other games.
