One of the best FPS out there. Pure action and fun.
Now is this game worth all it's hype? I think yes. It is a great FPS, not a simulator, so don't expect an OFP or Arma 2 here. The game has taken many elements of the best action movies of the last 2 decades and makes you a part of them. There are so many awesome moments, that you will surely enjoy and that immerse you in the game world, but I'm not going to describe them because you probably have read them in many other places. The graphics are top notch and the game runs really smooth even on mid-range PCs. IW have made a great job in graphic optimization (that's for you Crytek). The sound is great, with a Hans Zimmer soundtrack (absolutely the best for this type of games / movies). The AI is good, but I think that the fact that everything is scripted helps it look much better than it is. The campaign is no that short as many reviewing websites have stated and after you finish it you will continue with Spec Ops which are a great way to go into quick action. The only negative element of this game IMO is the storyline, and the fact that you really pass through things quickly. The storyline beats the most fantastic Hollywood movies with an impossible plot that can't happen (I know it's a game but the plot is really, really pure fantasy). Also the game continues on the steps of MW1 and doesn't invent many new things (except for the Breach and Riot Shield sequences). Anyway if you liked MW1 you should absolutely buy this one, and even if you didn't buy the first one but you like FPS than this is a must buy. Rating 9.5.
