Possibly Game Of The Year but there are 2 kinda major things to bring it down.
Pros: Amazing and gripping storyline, very customizable, spec ops is a blast, lots of new guns and perks, and multiplayer is even more addicting than the last.
Cons: The story is short clocking in at about 7 hours for me on veteran, and multiplayer can sometimes feel insanely unfair.
Graphics: 10/10. The graphics are just so good. They are crystal clear. I was standing on top of a huge cliff and I could see the water about 300ft below shining and flowing.
Story: 10/10. The story is gripping with lots of twists and turns and still lots of huge explosions and amazing escape sequences.
Spec Ops: 9/10. This is a really fun mode to play with a friend. Alone it is still kinda fun, but not nearly as fun as it is with a friend. I gave it a 9 because for about 5 of the missions they feel downright impossible.
Story Length: 5/10. Clocking in at only 7 hours on veteran was a dissappointment for me. This game could have been way better single player wise if they made the story even 4 hours longer.
Multiplayer: 10/10. The highlight of the game is its outstanding multiplayer. Nothing else beats getting to pilot an AC-130 gunship and massacre a whole team. The multiplayer is so much more customizable that it will leave your head spinning. The one problem with multiplayer is the fact that at times it will be insanely unfair. Pretty much the first team to get a big killstreak WILL be the winner. Other than that the multiplayer has but the smallest flaws that are too small to talk about here.
Replayability: 10/10. Modern Warfare 2 with its gripping story, insane Spec Ops CO-OP, and its addicting multiplayer will have you continuously coming back for more.
Overall: 9/10. Modern Warfare 2 is a game like no other. It will have you coming back for more for years to come. Its entertaining story and amazing online is an amazing experience. Modern Warfare 2 is an elite title that is not to be missed.
