Ahh yes the long awaited sequel to one of the greatest first person shooters ever made. Was it worth it? Hell yes!

User Rating: 9.5 | Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 X360
I must begin with the fact that the initial idea of having Call of Duty in a modern setting was absolutely capital. The original was incredible beyond all belief. I thought to myself "Dude, that was just...awesome, it would be unreal if they made a sequel to something this great!" Well now I have waited, and I guess I stand corrected. Modern Warfare is back, and it's bigger and better than ever before! Absoulutely brilliant!

Gameplay: I am just speechless. They've definitely made some awesome modifications to the already awesome gameplay. First thing that made me want to crack my face from smiling was the fact that there are WAY more guns in this one. And they are AWESOME. You have your G18 machine pistols, your red dot sight weapons (there's a LOT of those!), and you can hold double weapons such as machine pistols and Uzis and a couple of sawn off shotguns. The number of weapons is just unbelievable. The locations? Getting to fight in Afghanistan, Russia, Rio, and the suburbs of an American city is an absolute privilege. And this time you have a bit more of a story. Not exactly 100 percent cutting edge, but it's okay and you get some adrenaline pumping action to make up for it. One of my favorites was the controversial mission at Zachaev International Airport. I had soooo much fun during that one! It was also ultra realistic! Try playing that mission while listening to some Lamb of God or Dying Fetus! That will really pump you up! Oh, and the infrequent driving sequences were pretty thrilling! Multiplayer? The best part!

Graphics: Just like its predecessor, breathtaking. Absolutely breathtaking! In sunlit missions your eyes will burn because of how good everything looks. Great facial expressions on the characters. You have some okay physics, but some pretty sweet looking blood (but I wish it were gory like World at War). They are insane graphics, but when you look up close you would see a bit of muddy textures, and faraway backgrounds are rather pixelated, but I'm guessing this is to keep the framerate nice and steady at 60 fps, impressive!

Sound: It's a warzone out there! Your weapons all sound realistic, you have some superb voice acting, awesome explosions and such. Not much to say here.

Well like every COD game, it is short. But this one was shorter than I expected. Whatever, COD games in my opinion have an everlasting spark, and props to the guys at Infinity Ward, for making another awesome game, bravo!
