The campaign is great, Special Ops is awesome and regular multiplayer will keep you entertain for hours!
This at the main menu is broken down into three categories: Special Ops, Campaign, & Multiplayer. First, the Special Ops is a bunch of coop-type missions. While some of the missions are based some what off the main campaign, a good majority of them are specially designed for teamwork. These missions can range from being easy to insanely difficult. My favorite mission is when one I get to run threw a town while my buddy covers me from above with an AC-130 gunship. Nothing cool then calling in heavy air support to help lay the red carpet out…….
The Campaign has a well written story and totally original. Me being in the military and all, I can almost actually see a story like this unfold. You start out in Afghanistan showing the Afghan army how to shoot. Then you called to help reinforce a position defending a bridge. You get there and the terrorist are everywhere. After holding off the attack you get to your HUMMV and conduct a patrol. Well, I'm not going to ruin the details of the mission. Soon you find your self in Russia trying to enter a Russian Mob. By the way, this mission might get you very upset if you have trouble shooting civilians.
Well, all goes bad and you die and the Russians find your American body. Its on now, with full invasion against America. So you spend time fighting on American soil trying to protect the capital. Bla bla, if you want to know more about the story, I guess your gonna have to buy the game.
Multiplayer is highly addictive and is what I am caught playing for hours at a time. Its has the same concept as the 1st Modern Warfare where you get to use a wide range of weapons to try and win the day. Every thing is completely customizable. They have more perks and took some out some of the annoying ones. Sitting here thinking about all the cool things you can do is giving me a huge urge to want to play right now.
In my opinion this is a must own game. The graphics are great; game play is high addictive, the cover system is very well created. The only thing I can say that this game has as a negative fault is that its so addicting that I'm starting to miss out of the real world!
