Call of Duty: Modern Warfare manages to trick the world into buying Call of Duty 4 again for full retail price.
Now how many names can you remember from a great story like Halo? Master Chief, that black seargent, and the computer girl. I may not know their names but I remember them at least.
Mulyplayer: A couple new features here like random support requests from streaks, new weapons, ect... The gameplay online is better in my opinion because the maps are somewhat big. Me being a combat simulator player, I like room to stretch my legs, and COD 4's backyard brawls didn't do it for me.
Besides bigger maps and a couple new itemsit is literally the same game as COD 4 online. When will people quit buying something because the commercials tell them?(FYI I rented because I will never give money directly to infinity ward, since they turned it into an arcade game after COD 3.)
Sound: Horrible. Lol. Seriously don't argue on this one. I've shot alot of weapons in my life and most of these sound like pop-guns. Not really detailed any detail to the sound either, no footsteps that sound amazing and match every surface.
Graphics: My lord. The online looks bad. LIKE BAD. The texturing is bland, the player models still appear to... glide along surfaces... Seriously this is un-debatable. But I personaly don't mind the graphics at all coming from com. sim's , but you think COD would have tried in this department.
All in all it is essentialy the same game as COD 4. Any disagreements with my review are likely fanboys... Because honestly the sound and graphics do suck and the story is un-rememerable to the average player. Thats the facts. You can debate a food critic all day but he still has a better opinion of a turd sandwhich over the guy who eats it every day and loves it.
