One of the best First Person Shooters of 2009!
I never thought Infinity Ward could make call of duty significantly better than the original but I must apologize to the developer. Modern Warfare 2 is a far better game and raises the standard for FPS games!

If you like playing the campaign, you won't be disappointed. The plot is, well, okay but the twist & turns, ups and downs, and totally unexpected events are well worth the play. The frame rate and graphics were fantastic. No glitches or obvious problems. This is a well polished product.
Multiplayer is much like the first game with the added feature of trying to put you into a match with individuals similar in abilities to your own. Also, KUDOS for adding a Hardcore game with ricochet. What that means is that those gamers who like to squad kill (thinking that its cool and fun, spoiling the game for others) will have their bullets sent right back to them. What comes around goes around, baby. Also, let's not forget the Third Person Shooter game option. That's right, you can play a multiplayer match as TPS!
SPECOPS is a fantastic addition to the game. At first I thought 'yeah right how lame (can you say, Splinter Cell) but when I got a chance to play it with one of my friends, I was hooked. A great addition!

Not much to talk about here. Infinity Ward listened very well to their customers, got feedback, and made the game something for everybody.
Overall, I gave the game a A- (9.0). It solid, an improvement upon the original, and has much to offer. It would have gotten a higher score if it introduced something way out of the box. But, hey, if it ain't broken then don't fix it. A great game to buy and play over and over and over again.
