Better weapons, better maps and slightly better graphics, and thats about it.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 seems too similar to Modern Warfare 1. Although changes such as better weapons and more customizations and the addition of the shield are all good but just don't quite set it for a person who already owns or has already played the original Modern Warfare. The multi-player maps are quite similar as well and there are some new maps like terminal which are pretty exciting to explore and play in but they don't seem to deliver the same spark the original maps had in Modern Warfare 1. The campaign is pretty much the same with a lot of the similar designed missions. Special Ops is a great feature missing in Modern Warfare 1 and I think that is probably an amazing addition to this game. The weapons prove to be very exhilarating and fun to use despite some of them having a slight learning curve(but it will be a little easier for gamers who have already Modern Warfare 1). The graphics in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 are definitely more polished and refined than Modern Warfare 1 especially if you view them in full HD.
Overall, I think fans of the original Modern Warfare will be slightly disappointed like me and might not buy the game because of how similar they both are. I hope to see Modern Warfare 2 on the Nintendo Wii so I can utilize my Wii Zappers! :)
