This is based on my opinion so if you can relate towards how I feel about this game that's cool and if you can't well try to understand where im coming from.

Now I got this game back when it was first released and to be honest with you I was really pumped up for it. Working at GAME at the time I was able to get it cheaper, or if you were one of the lucky ones you could get it from Morrisson's/Sainsbury's for £24.99, I was not getting up at 6am just to get a game on the cheap.

Anyways back to the review...

As I mentioned previously I really wanted this game as I enjoyed the Original MW (Which I had on PC) sure MW had its annoying problems but so do most games, you just "Get on with it".

So I played through the campaign mode which I spent a fair few hours on trying to get achievements etc, I was surprised after completing it how short the campaign actually was but at the same time it was no big deal to me as I originally purchased MW2 for its on-line Multiplayer part.

So I fired up the Multiplayer part and again spent a few hours a day (roughly 5 days in total) playing it and I got bored, I was not enjoying the game at all, I was getting annoyed with certain issues within the game but remember I played the original on PC so it was the whole moving from keyboard/mouse to control pad and it's like watching your mum getting raped.

I intended to purchase the game on PC but im sure you know how much the PC users were screwed over, so the decision to get it on Xbox 360 was a no-brainer since that's what all my uni friends were getting it for.

If I remember correctly the original price for MW2 was £44.99 looking back at what you get I think the price tag screams "Rip off" just as much as a Chav screams "Benefits" but because of the success of the original MW can you actually blame them for putting it at this price? Its obvious people were going to buy it gullible or not. Good business I say for the company but for the consumer...not so good, why? Because the game is a cut and paste job from previous Call Of Duty installments, it seems to be the same old thing. Speaking of "Same old thing" I understand you can get 2 of the original MW maps within the MW2 stimulus package which again is at a steep price.

End of the day I feel there are better FPS titles out there which are not getting the respect they deserve, I kinda get the impression from people that if an FPS game is not like COD then its automatically a no buy, or the game is gonna get bashed for trying to copy COD etc.

If you are new to FPS games then I think you will enjoy this game, if you have played fps games before then no doubt you have already played this game. I would recommend people to wait until the price goes down as the game does not justify the £44.99 price tag.
