The best shooter you will ever play!!!
Graphics: From the moment you start the campaign you cannot believe your eyes, because its just not the textures that are well made, but the particles like dust or water and even fire, and most amazing thing is that you get all that with the most amazing frame rate you can possibly find. And the attention to details is astonishing, theres a particular part were your rappelling upside down a wall and and you perform a stealth kill to a standing guard and you look in is eyes as he dies and you can see the veins popping out and the eyes starting to turn red, its amazing.
Gameplay: Very similar to the first installment you run, you shoot, and you stealth. This time around there are more weapons to try and even toys like, thermal sights, missile drones and robot turrets. The controls are tight and responsive and your character will never miss out or glitch out on you (except sometimes in multi player). And is in the multi player that this game shines, from the incredible amount of customization options to the raking up system everything is well tuned and well set. After a few ranks your are given the choice to make your own class (and of course you'll do one), where you get to chose which weapons you wanna take into combats, the attachments of those weapons(which include red dot sights, holographic sights, flaming rounds , grenade launchers, shotguns, extra mags and more), what grenades, and what perks. Perks are great, they improve aspects of your combat depending on which one you're using, ones improve reloading speed, others give you accuracy, and others extra damage. Other styles of perks are one in which you drop grenades when you die to try and get your killer, or another one which allows for two attachments at the same time in the same weapon, they're nice and something that allows for people to differentiate themselves in combat. Another good addition to multi player is kill-streaks, they're like bonuses you get for killing a certain amount of people without dieing, and these include drone missiles, air support (and i mean offensive air support), and even a tactical nuke, which ends the match instantaneously O_o, yea its a bit unfair but i mean you need to kill 25 players without dieing, if someone doesn't kill the bastard by then, then come on, best to end it quickly. Now don`t think that when you go online all stuff is going to be at you're disposal oh no, besides ranking up to unlock perks and weapons, you also need to use those perks and weapons in combat to unlock attachments and upgraded perks, so get out there and start killing. Aside the single player and multi you also have special ops, these are solo or two men missions that you can take with a friend, and that are a nice relaxation from the online matches, these missions take out parts of the campaign and make you go trough them but with different objectives, things like holding off waves of enemies, or stealth you're way around an enemy infested camp, with two players you can have one sniping for support and the other going close for some really cool missions. Its pretty nice.
Story: Again another place where MW2 really shines, you start off where the first lets off, the big bad armless guy is dead and now an **** called Makarov came in to take is place, and trough a well schemed plan he unleashes WWIII between the US and Russia. You, as a soldier, play in two fronts, the protection of the US against the invading Russians, and the search for Makarov, in the way there will be a lot of interesting plot twists, and stuff you simply weren't expecting. My only complain and the reason why i don`t give this game a 10 is in particular one of the first missions of the campaign where you go to" Rio de Janeiro" in Brazil and you have to solo kill an entire village thats after you, doesn't look that bad, but when you got freaking Brazilians shouting "Mata esse cabrão" (kill that ****) and appearing from every **** hole there is, you start swearing.
MW2 is a great addition to the franchise and i pity those who buy this game, leaving because they thought the multi player was too hard and there too many campers, this is a shooter, campers are everywhere in any game, and if you don`t like them shoot them for Christs sake, thats what i do and im doing fine.
