A great multi player experience, solid campaign, fantastic production value, and replayability make this a must own game
Graphics: The best part is that it runs at 60 fps. It sacrifices some visual quality for that speed, but it appears to fluid that it is hard to tell. The graphics are very beautiful in face. Areas range from snowy bases, hot city environments, russian forests, and suburban american neighborhoods.
Sound: The sound is incredibly realistic. Guns sound like they have weight and power with their firing sounds. The music is subtle but still memorable in many aspects. The voice overs could have been better but that is asking too much for a game predominately focused on gameplay than story/voiceacting.
Replay Value: Once you complete the short campaign, there are "special operations" you can play with a friend at home or online. They are short, individual missions that are usually timed and have objectives. They can be incredibly difficult, and require teamwork to accomplish the spec ops. Multiplayer is obviously the main factor that will keep people coming back to this game. If you are buying this for a single player experience, I recommend renting it or borrowing it from a friend. If you do have online capabilities this is a must own title. Trophy and Xbox Achievement support is included with this game to extend the replay value.
Overall: This game succeeds in every way and trumps its little brother Call of Duty 4 in all regards. Better online multiplayer, graphics, gameplay, and sound. Do yourself a favor and purchase this game before Black Ops and experience a grand, action oriented shooter.
