This game could have been the best game ever made. A few major flaws got in the way.

It is difficult to sum this game up in a few words...

The game looks, sounds, and feels worlds ahead of its predecessors. MW1 was a great game and it honestly puts it to shame in presentation.

Campaign is short but fun. The story is at times can be quite emotional. Although sometimes it can be confusing (or I just don't care) depending on what is going on.

The gameplay mechanics are amazing. It is smooth and easy to use and play. The guns feel good and sound great if you were comparing to games in 2009. By today's (2011) standard, the sound presentation is heavily beat by Battlefield Bad Company 2.

Spec Ops is a great time if you have some friends to play with. They can be extremely challenging at times and because of this, even more rewarding.

The muti-player is the best part of the game but at the same time the biggest problem. Its incredible at times. Its fast paced and extremely addictive.

The problem lies in the fact that is is unbelievably unbalanced. My opinion is that the developers were looking for a way to make the game playable by both new and old users. Although I have no beef with this, they did make some HUGE problem factors that ruined the whole experience for me.

1.) Explosions are extremely overpowered.

2.) Stopping Power(Pro) shouldn't even exist as a perk.

3.) Commando Pro is the most frustrating perk to ever exist.

4.) Kill Streaks are overpowered

5.) System lags (but you may not know it unless you watch "Kill cams")

6.) Spawning is terrible.

Because of these factors, you will find yourself dying a lot from factors you can't control. You will blow up at your spawn. You will blow up constantly, in fact. You will blow up so much, so many times in a row. In fact, I have a hard time playing this game for more than a few minutes without getting completely outraged.

My last beef is that the game is rated "mature" but the lobbies are littered with children. I don't want to play with children ever.

If they fixed the main issues with this game, I would rate it a 10/10. Too bad Infinity Ward doesn't really fix anything.
