I played all of the previous Call of Duties, and usually enjoyed the gameplay of all of them... but like a lot of people, I got COD fatigued. I played a ton of Zombies in Black Ops, but online lost its luster. My biggest complaint was how much lag I experienced in almost every game. Host migration hardly ever worked, and my friends and I just got sick of it. We all picked up BF3 excited. Well, everyone knows how many problems there were at the launch. We couldn't talk to each other and rarely got on the same team. That caused 2 of my friends to jump back to COD. Me and my buddy waited it out and eventually the problems were smoothed out. The idea of huge levels and vehicles is amazing. The problem is the vehicles are either too easy or too hard to get kills with. The biggest problem was the levels are huge but most of fighting took place in one area and just wasn't as fun as it should be.. I started to miss killstreak rewards, and the addicting leveling system.. so we both jumped back. First off, the campaign in COD is infintly times better. Plus, the revamped Spec Ops missions are stellar. I love survival mode, and the missions are a blast. Yes, online has very few changes, but when you take a 6 month break like I did, it all feels fresh again. Weapon balancing is obvious and it's as faced paced as ever. The biggest thing, is so far, I have had very little lag. I must say, if you just give COD a chance with allowing preconcieved emotions, its a great game
