Sorry to sound harsh...but this game is for true fan boys who enjoy any game that has the name call of duty in the title. Boring game play and repetitive multi player does get old, something that people who have played this series for years fail too see. The campaign is just downright awful, and the only thing that may keep you awake is one or two interesting twists in the story. The online play is bland and old, using recycled ideas from both Modern Warfare 2 and Black Ops. Maybe the only thing spot on in this game is some of the visuals and graphics that depict the world in an apocalypse and perhaps some sound quality. People really only purchase this game for the hype it gets and because they are loyal to the series, but please wake up and see that they are making money off of you (and even me) by repeating the same process. Spec-Ops missions dont add anything new or refreshing too the game either, just some more of the same old "move cover to cover and throw a grenade" stuff. So, overall :
Graphics: 8.5- At least the game looks good.
Sound:9.0- Be honest, its hard too mess this up.
Story line: 2.5- Very boring and repetitive.
Multiplayer: 4.0- Something new would have been much nicer.
Re-play value:4.0-Anything is fun if you have friends around, but can still be annoying.
Gameplay:3.5- It was still fun in Modern Warfare 1...but all these years later it seems more like a routine.
Unfortunately, it seems that you cant teach an old dog new tricks after all.
