Different day, Same game - check your bargain bin

This is going to be shorter than my usual lengthy reviews because there's hardly anything to say. If you have played COD4, 5, MW2, Black Ops, well MW5 is exactly the same game re-hashed.

I have to say the single player is exhilarating non stop action and very much fun, but after the campaign is done its the multiplayer we all seek.

Multiplayer is exactly the same as the older games, the graphics engine is no better, same horrible flag icons that appeared as long ago as in COD 2, same ugly grenade indicator icons etc etc.

To make matters worse the dedicated server browser games which we all want on PC are unranked. If you want to play a ranked game you have to use the horrid console style matchmaking system, which leads to waits of several minutes for players and in game pauses for host migration.

That said the multiplayer maps are much better than what was found in Black Ops.

At the end of the day this is a full price game for something that feels like no more than an expansion pack.

I have no option but to give this game a relatively low score simply because of the lack of innovation or new features.

The game is worth buying for the single player campaign - in fact no one does SP better than Infinity Ward, but after my first hour or so of playing I went back to Battlefield 3 for some real multiplayer warfare.
