I had high expectations that Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer had learned something from Treyarch in how good Black Ops was and how they had progressed the series forward in several ways. One of which was the currency system that eliminated the annoying task of unlocking attachments based upon the amount of kills you got with a gun, you could merely purchase the attachment you wanted to begin with, but unfortunately this game takes a huge step backwards and goes back to the old school way of unlocking attachments AND perks AND killstreaks. Also by doing this they eliminated wager match game types, one of my favorite parts of Black Ops that is not present in MW3. If you're used to mowing people down right out of the box like I did in Black Ops you're in for a rude awakening in MW3, save yourself the headaches and money and stick with Black Ops for another year until a better game comes out.
