Nothing new here folks, just a over priced map pack.

Modern Warfare was an amazing and great game when it first came out. It was the 1st true "Modern" FPS for consoles. However, we've seen it all by now with the MW series and there is quite nothing new to this game. First and foremost lets talk about the campaign. The campaign is fairly entertaining, however you bump into the same cliches as always. Defend this line and hold, destroy these vehicles with this cool gadget. Also the enemies are cliched. Big dude with big guns and armor. There is absolutely nothing new to the campaign and you will find yourself in a lot of de ja vu moments.Campaign is fairly short, just a few new settings, Paris, London, New York. I don't know about you guys, but New York is always being destroyed by SOMEONE or SOMETHING. That idea is getting OLD. The game uses a lot of scripts and scenery to keep your attention, which does a fairly good job. However, if you've been playing CoD for a while nothing will really surprise you.
Now here's the multiplayer. It's the same. That's it. Nothing new, except for a couple weapons and perks. This game is just simply an expansion/ map pack. Run around and shoot with basically no recoil. Shoot from the hip and you still hit people from far away without even trying. This game is bland. Nothing is new, which is why this game is being given a mediocre score by me. There is absolutely NO innovation in this game. They try but hardly seem to try to spice things up by making chase sequences more arcade style shooter. Only buy this game if you are a true DIE HARD FAN BOY for full price right now, otherwise if you just want to play the campaign just to see how it ends, I suggest everyone to wait until it becomes a "Greatest hit / Platinum hit". The $60 dollars isn't worth the game's price. However you can do the alternative like I did, and rent the game.
