MW3 = MW2 DLC.... Sooo disappointed...
MW3 Sp campaign brings out the usual quality and has been pretty decent, but I lost interest. I really go this for the MP
GAMEPLAY
MP has been riddled with lag (sort of expected in first week, but...) and back to the annoying run n' gun experience that I came to get annoyed with in MW2. When BF3 came out I was really surprised that DICE would allow the bugs they did seeing as MW3 was coming out so soon. Seems that Activision knew they had a more popular product, but didn't care if it was better.
The Hit Detection system seems off based on the choice of weapons. I'm still getting killed from ridiculous distances through metal walls. The spawn points are the most annoying thing about the MW series. I feel it has to be this way because of the linear way the maps seem to be set up half the time. I get waxed over and over sometimes... No set up or strategy involved.
I'm not the best at wasting people so unfortunately I have to have my deaths tracked and just let me shoot as many bullets as I want without feeling like I'm having every negative thing I do tracked!?! WTF!!!!! I DON"T NEED TO BE REWARDED FOR SUCKING!
Lastly... I can't be mic'd up with 8 year olds... I know this game sold more whatever, but I can't take it when a little girl is sniping me and trying to add me as a friend on LIVE... The fan base is .... :::insert horrid comment here:::
They are definitely 2 different games possibly for different type of gamers, but it's a shame the 9 million people will be ripped off by developers who didn't deem it necessary to make their game blazingly better. I feel like they just knew we'd buy it because it's Modern Warfare and now they have their money so who cares about us right? This could all have been DLC. EASY.
I hope the MW series learns from this mistake and comes out with an innovative and changed game next time.
I believe its time to add some other aspects to the game and open up environments. Screw this standard of 60fps... I said it before I'll say it again... I'd trade 20 fps for some creativity.
