I was so pumped about mw3. I knew infinity ward makes really good call of duty games and i love mw2 so i couln't wait to see what they came up with. I preordered the game a month before the release and got it on november 8th. All I can say is that it's more of the same. It feels like modern warfare 2.5. All they did was added one new game mode, kill confirmed, and they put in some new guns and maps. I am good at onlines games and i had some good ratios in mw2 and black ops but this game is not very beginner friendly. There are a ton of noobs and a ton of hardcore pros so you never know what to expect when you start shooting a guy. Is he gonna dropshot me like a pro or shoot at the sky like a moron? Also the online has horrendous lag. I have a very good xbox live connection and have never had problems with previous call of duty games. It is obvious that the servers just can't handle the millions of players. The campaign is the same old thing. They try to make your jaw drop every 5 minutes and it has lost its thrills. Spec ops is fun and survival mode is a fun copy of hoard mode. All the action in the game is top notch and the controls are tight. The balance is decent. As a standalone game mw3 would be great but as a sequel to mw2 I just dont see any innovation whatsoever here.
