this year was always going to be a big test for MW3 with the high profile implosion at infinity ward. anyway i figured a series that has given me so much joy over the years deserved some loyalty from me. first things first the shambles that is elite is both a waste of money and effort. secondly the game. The single player has got more ludicrous each release but this year takes the biscuit. its as if they feel they need the controversy to make it good. if you blink you'll miss it too. now on to multiplayer. this game is basically MW2 with a number 3 on it and coloured in green. there is so much that they have just lifted without any kind of update i.e textures graphics, sounds. it feels old and used. in fact mw2 was probably better than this. it has the same problems from the past but with some new ones added. no scope sniping is so easy its basically a long range shotgun , not that you need range because of the small maps. the weapons feel the same but the machine pistols (which are a secondry) rule over any weapons in this game. you may well love it and disagree but i know one thing for sure, this is a terrible CoD and i know that in two years iw/sledgehammer will admit as much saying "we know MW3 didn't live up to expectation etc but we've really worked on this one". there is a better shooter out there this year.
