It's nothing new really, but it is entertaining. If you've played the other games and enjoyed them, I think you'll find something fun here. There's a ton to do, between all the different multiplayer modes, single player and Spec Ops. I find it very addictive to always be leveling up and unlocking new guns, perks, camo, etc.. Also, I really enjoyed the new Survival mode, and think I'll find a lot of use out of that for a long time. It's much better than Zombies. The graphics are about on their last leg at this point, but I can tolerate that as when I'm having a great match I'm not thinking about graphics. The maps are a bit small, they feel like they were optimized for Kill Confirmed (the new multiplayer mode) which makes other modes like Domination a bit more frustrating. You won't find anything reinventing the series here, but it's probably the best Call of Duty yet.
