So sad the FPS genre is in decline. This series was my favorite post Counter-Strike, but now it's about annual spitouts.

I use to love COD. It use to be fun. It use to require skill. It use to
have awesome graphics, an intriguing story, and amazing sound.
Unfortunately it has all gone down hill after COD 4. This game is like
a summer blockbuster designed to sell millions without the need for a
great story, because the developer and publisher knows it will sell
regardless even if a mediocre game is released. This is so sad and
unfortunately this series has become a victim of corporate greed and
complacency among others. Its not about quality anymore, it's about
winning the preorder sales record war now which is so sad for a game
series that began with such fun and exciting titles. I'd rather not see
everyone put $500 million in gross preorder revenue in Activision's
back pocket, before wasting $60 on a lackluster title. STOP BUYING HYPE
PEOPLE SERIOUSLY, EVERYONE THAT BUYS THESE GAMES IS ALL A VICTIM OF
WASTEFUL $200 MILLION+ MARKETING CAMPAIGNS.
