May have you feeling a bit of Deja vu...

First let me get it out that I am not a BF3 fanboy nor a COD fanboy. I love games period and FPS is what I gravitate towards the most. Now with that out of the way let me give my opinions of the game.

MW3 is not a terrible game by any means. Unfortunately it does not add enough to the series to keep it from feeling like a recycled game. If you loved MW2 then you'll get a game that delivers the same experience that you loved in the previous ones. The added multiplayer modes are decent but don't add anything remarkable to the online experience. The kill streaks are ok enough and I actually like the fact capping a flag in Domination gives a point towards your streak making it a bit more "noob" friendly. Graphics are the same as always and this is something IW really needs to remedy soon. I know graphics don't make the game but after this many years its time to give the buyers something more visually attractive. The guns are pretty solid and feel meaty enough when dumping a clip into someone and for the most part all of the weapons seem viable and balanced.

I guess my biggest complaint beyond the game feeling of "been there done that" experience is the fact that the maps are a real let down. I think out of all of them perhaps 2-3 are decent. I've never played a game where the camping was so rampant. Every corner and hallway and window has a person in them. I never minded a more "strategic" style of camping but this game is infested with Kill streak campers to the point of being complete nonsense. IW needs to release either new maps that are more suited like the previous type of maps or at the very least recycle some maps from the previous games of the series into this game.

I have not touched the Campaign and probably will not do so for some time until I need a break from the MP so I can't give an opinion on that as of yet.

All in all its a decent MP experience. I can't say its worth $60.00 though when so much is similar to the previous ones. IW really needs to get off their wallets and start adding a fresher experience to the series to make the purchase justifiable.

Pros: If you loved the previous MW titles then you'll feel right at home.
The guns are actually fun and most feel very capable.
Killstreaks, although nothing exciting, feel balanced.

Cons: If you feel like you have played this game before...you have ;)
Maps cater to the mass amount of campers.
Doesn't bring anything new to the table that is worth getting excited over.
Game desperately needs better graphics/sounds.
