Same 'ol multiplayer; but WTF is wrong with that????
I love any game that's willing to present something different nowadays and BF3 does deliver on that point well.
Where Battlefield 3 shines, MW3 doesn't unfortunately.... this time around anyway - on innovation of gameplay and presentation.
However...
MW3's multiplayer formula is still untouched, without question!!!
I agree with the sayer's - what 'aint broke don't fix it. What I don't agree with is paying the hefty $59.99 (depending where you are in the world) for another map pack. That's certainly uncontested and bit offensive. Though the game really wasn't hyped up all that much where I am, so it's not like they were really trying too hard to sell. Guess they left that to the branding.
That being said, I still love MW3. It's just an exciting game to play - as were all COD MW installments. There's simply a recipe for success here and unmatched IMO.
Now that they've already announced BF4, I can only imagine based on the negative feedback of MW3, the COD MW franchise will probably counter.
It's definitely not a 9 and for once I agree with GS, it's at best 8.5; but even after reading all the negative comments I still bit and bought MW3 and I can't say I really regret it.
If you're looking for something different buy BF3 and pass on MW3.
If you really don't care... then I'd personally suggest buying both!!!
