Modern Warfare 3 definitely comes in 1st

User Rating: 9.5 | Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 WII
When I did my review for Call of Duty Black Ops, I thought it was going to be the last great game for Wii, but I was wrong. I never understood why Infinite Ward never developed Modern Warfare 2 for Wii, so I didn't expect one for Wii, ever. But wow, did they deliver a fatastic game to Wii. Perhaps cause Treyarch is always the company that brings Call of Duty to the Wii. The game has the same graphics as Black Ops which is fantastic. Practically everything from Black Ops is the same on Modern Warfare 3. The controls, gameplay, even how the characters move and interact is the same as Black Ops. The story is what sticks out the most. I was deeply surprised at how well the Wii held up with the extreme amounts of action and movement. No lag. It makes me wonder, if a company actually took their time to make a game for Wii, how amazing could it be? After all, the Call of Duty series had greatly improved for the Wii, since World at War.
The story starts out right where Modern Warfare 2 left off. Problem is, no MW2 for Wii. There is several plot twist, as expected in a MW game, and huge amounts of action. I was so skeptical of how well the Wii could keep up with the amount of action that was in the game. The fact that the Wii played through perfectly proves that it is a worthy system and is always put down because of lies, such as too much lag. This appears to be the last chapter in the MW series, so expect an epic ending. The story is what truly made this game great. Every aspect of it was great, even how well portrayed the backgrounds were. It's World War 3, so expect the world to be in destruction. ALL of the world. Landmarks that we all know, are either destroyed or about to be destroyed. Emotion played a huge role in this. I noticed the sound effects, particularly the weapons are a lot louder, and more powerful sounding than ever before. Which to me, is a good thing, since it makes the game more realistic.
Multiplayer is virtually the same it always has been, so there's practically no reason to explain any of it. Same perks, practically same weapons. The maps are different, of course, but I just lost my lust to play online anymore. There's just too many games of Call of Duty to choose to play and prestige in and I just gave up on it. I focus mainly on the story anymore, with those games. This game has proved to me that a great game can be made for Wii, and this might just be the best game for Wii, ever. Until The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, that is;)
