This game is ultimately more of the same

Its not a bad game but little has changed since the original CoD4 Modern Warfare of 2007. The game still uses the same engine the same singleplayer campaign formula. The Multiplayer is fun but also more of the same may as well stick to Modern Warfare 2 or Black ops as this is pretty much the same thing with new levels different weapon skins and different killstreaks.

The only part of it I truly enjoyed was the Spec Ops survival and missions - those were fairly interesting and the only aspect of the game that makes me want to play more.

The soundtrack is mostly underwhelming in Modern Warfare 2 there were several songs that stuck out to me that to this date I still have on my MP3 player but none were to be found in MW3.

I generally dislike the weapon sounds I dont feel they do the guns justice (although the skins look very nice for them the only part of the graphics I found impressive) and the shooting action feels like firing a toy gun with no recoil at all - Having fired an M4 Carbine myself I ask myself if the developers have ever done so themselves or if they just deliberately chose to ignore it.

The campaign follows the same format of its predecessor although it did away with the characters of Foley and Ramirez and never explained anything in relation to them

All in all it feels more like Modern Warfare 2.5 than Modern Warfare 3 - not worth the $59.99 price point
