Like Pong with colors. Nothing new from the other CODs.

I have bought this game, thinking it would be an authentic experience of dazzling graphics and heart shocking suspense (like you would expect in such a terrifying war. I have played the Single Player campaign for about four missions on 'normal' (that's one level above 'novice').

The hit detection system is broken. Half of the time the bullets fly everywhere instead of hitting the enemy. What's even more scary is that playing CoD MW 1 actually feels better than playing this! You hear the impact on the body in that game! In MW3 it feels like you are shooting at nothing.. it's sad. I get no satisfaction out of shooting enemies and that on itself is a huge disappointment.

CoD MW 1 made you feel like you were actually doing something. The feeling of effort in MW 3 is just gone. If you just duck, shoot some guys, sprint to the next available cover and repeat, your AI team mates practically eliminate the rest for you. "Good job guys!" - not really, sorry. I feel like I have achieved nothing. I even dare to say that the First Person scope view is the same overused one as in the previous COD games. That alone makes you feel like: "Wait a minute, haven't I played this before?". That's the feeling I had when I played the first mission. The same old COD scope was there.

When I opened the game DVD box itself, that alone was a disappointing experience. The manual was as thin as the manual I made in high school for a mini game I wrote myself. A mini game! The manual is 8 pages thick, including the license agreement of 2 pages! If you're a programmer/developer, you will instantly feel it in the game that the developers got lazy. You can feel they put almost no work in this game. This game is like Pong with colors. It feels like you're just playing a worse version of COD1, with different maps. This game doesn't feel like war! War is brutal! War is survival! This is the feeling I got in Call of Duty: World at War. The Russian guy yelling: "I saw this man cheat death. Dimitri, as long as he lives, the spirit of this nation will never die!". Man, that game was so inspiring. Sorry, but MW3.. just.. it feels like Mirror's Edge with.. a broken version of Medal Of Honor: Allied Assault or something. I almost have no words for it. You never feel like you are physically hurt, let alone mentally. In war, both feelings are attacked viciously! Guess what.. I think Medal Of Honor: Allied Assault is better than this game! This game is not worth 65 euro at all.. it's a disappointment.

Over and out!
