Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3

Alright another year, another Call Of Duty. I'm gonna be flat out honest here, this series has gotten to the point where all the producers care about is the money. I was very skeptical about buying the game in the first place, and I was definitely right being that way. I've invested enough hours and money into the series that I could be considered an addict. However this is not the case anymore. People rave about this series every year and its value has just decreased. Lets start with the game play. Frankly its the same bull since the original Call Of Duty back in 2004. It is kill or be killed. They have not changed a thing in that area which makes it very weak but at the same time makes the game what it is. The controls are the same so no real debate on that. The problem with this game no longer comes with glitches, lag, or freezing. The problems lies within the hands of the players, producers, and the system companies. First off the people who play this game take it way too seriously, they feel if they are incredibly talented at this game it makes them look "cool". However it makes them the opposite. People have gotten so dependent on winning that they resort to hacking, modding, and physical alteration of the controller in order to win. Which leads to the next problem, the producers are leaving the problems that are in the game in the game. Soldiers blitzing around and knifing needs to stop, its bull and unrealistic. In real life the soldier running around in the middle of the battle field would be dead in a split second. I'm pretty sure a soldier isn't going to hid a little hut like a coward and wait for people to come to him. The producers should eliminate speed running in its entirety and make a knife only do partial damage instead of instant kill. The biggest problem however is the fact that the companies who provide the online playing. (Microsoft & Sony) They aren't punishing players who are cheating in the game. However Microsoft does make a stand against it as best as they can with the ability to report players, and banning there gamertag or system mac address. Sony on the other hand sits there and lets them hack the game away without punishment. I have never seen or heard one player getting kicked off the psn. There is no discipline, and without discipline people don't change. Back to the game. All that in hand it ruins the game for a player who wants to sit down have a little fun for an hour after having a long day. Instead of relaxing you are only getting frustrated. The replay value for the whose are addicted is high but otherwise you trade it in a month after its release. Until the producers of the game take out the massive flaws and annoyances that hold this game back from being better and the players change (that will never happen) this game essentially has lost its value and greatness. I would highly advise buying Battlefield 3.
