Didn't reach expectations.
Lets start with what was good about the game. The controls are simple and haven't changed from previous call of duty games. The game felt friendly and there were no significant changes to adapt to. The graphics were a major improvement making black ops look like a ps2 game. THEY FINALLY MADE ASSISTS COUNT TOWARD KILLS FOR KILL STREAKS. This feature is avilable in multiplayer, and is something other gamers and myself have been expecting for a long time. They also have survival mode, which is like nazie zombies with guns, kill streaks and juggernauts.
Now why did I give this game such a low score? It's a simple answer. Call of duty has always had a poor team balancing system, which can make the multiplayer a pain in the @$$, this was something that I really hoped they would improve. They also removed the akimbo perk for primary weapons(which makes guns like the model 1887 practically useless and not very fun). One major problem is the spawn, I have been killed and re-spawned infront of my killer only to be killed again. There are alos no new memorabel moments or unique moments in the single player/multiplayer experience.
So overall the game was fun with addicting multiplayer, but none of the former problems have been addressed. With no new or exciting things to hope for the game is not worth 40, 50, or 60 dollars. When the price drops to below 40 I would recommend getting it.
