A nice change, but feels like an expansion of MW2
The new killstreak packages were interesting, but I still prefer the black ops method overall. Killstreaks do stack toward other killstreaks which is something I haven't personally been a fan of, due to one person can carry an entire team if they can string streaks. If you find yourself unable to get a streak going you can choose the support package, which killstreaks persist through death, granted they have some different rewards then the assault package, so instead of getting a chopper gunner or air-strike, you would get deploy-able ballistic vests, blackbirds, UAV's etc.
The story was decent, a couple exciting/ intense moments here and there but nothing that really stood out. Didn't play the spec ops mode so I can't give a decent review about that.
Overall if you mainly play COD for MP then you will find not many changes have been made and will feel right at home, due to the changes made could have been done through DLC it feels like. Although a fun experience, for $60 you may want to really consider if minor changes and a game that could have just been an expansion is worth that price. Overall I give MW3 a 7.0/10
