Ignore the trolls. This is a solid entry in the series!

I seriously am disgusted by the haters. Not because of Battlefield 3 (which is not a bad game) but because they give this game bad reviews SOLELY to make Modern Warfare look bad. I personally lean towards Moden Warfare 3 not just because of the crazed fanboys and immature hubris EA has behind it, but because I personally felt I got more enjoyment out of the whole package. Let me list a few reasons why:

- I enjoyed the single player a lot more. The characters, though not deep, had more dimension to them than Battlefield's bread and butter bland leads. The story's set pieces were more awe inspiring and inspired (it makes up in creativity for what it lacks in non linear). The conclusion has a lot more closure too, making it feel like the ride was worth it.

- Yes Battlefield had more polish in graphics, but a game like Modern Warfare that has crisp 60 frames per second speed are still beautiful to behold. The fact it can contain all that spectacle on screen at any given time is a true testament to the prowess of the design team.

- Great sound design as always. The score is just right as well, playing in compliment to the scene as opposed to just being filler.

- Top notch voice acting. I much prefer MW's larger than life performances to Battlefield's stiff line delivery and it's a treat to see the people on the cast like William Fichtner, Timothy Oliphant and Bruce Greenwood.

- I will also confess Battlefield's multiplayer is more in depth. That does not mean Modern Warfare's sucks! It still as robust and efficient as it has been. Nothing new but still just as fun.

- I love Spec. Ops too! Lots of replay value!

I think both Modern Warfare 3 and Battlefield 3 have great qualities but I have to side with MW3 because of the BF3 fanboys and that I personally enjoyed it more. So haters, please just stick with playing Battlefield 3 and stop posting bad reviews solely to drop MW3's score. It's just immature.
