When I started, I had the prejudice of loving Battlefield. Sufficed to say, I was wrong.

When I opened the game case and popped it into my 360 I had no idea what I was in for. I haven't touch any Call of Duty game since 1 except for it's demo's. I had, however, touched many Battlefield games and loved them all. I read reviews saying it wasn't that great and the graphics were bad and all there was was multi-player. I haven't touched any multi-player except for a LAN match and Spec Ops. The Single-player in my opinion, so far, is where it's at. The storyline keeps you on the edge of your seat from your first mission as Delta Force as Frost to your last firefight with Yuri against the Russians as Price. Every level felt immersive and brilliant. I can't say the same about the Battlefield Campaign. It's cliched and tedious. I don't have very much suspense and it isn't gripping. It felt like a remake, now Battlefield and Call of Duty are equally old. Both being re-known for their quality. I can say for this new Battlefield stick to multi-player, whereas this new CoD should be explored as long as you can. The removing of Zombies was a let down, but an equally good Spec Ops mode took its place. Aside from that, the level design is brilliant. I confess, the Frost Bite 2 Engine is fantastic. Its realistic and looks damn good. The CoD Engine is smooth though allowing for fast paced game play and bigger bangs for your buck. Yeah, i can go blow up a building in Battlefield. I can watch one equally as cool in the campaign. If you're looking for a game with a solid story and a fair multi-player, look no further. If you want a good looking game with a cliched story and solid multi-player, look there. All I can say is, I have both and CoD has got me hooked.
