Great campaign. Multi player gets old after a while. Boards are too much alike. Lag is almost a game breaker for me.

I'm kind of mixed over MW3. For comparison I'll use Black Ops. The campaign in Black Ops was so so. Kind of seemed like been there done that. But with the campaign on MW3, pretty good. Nice intense action. Exciting, and kept me on the edge of my lazy boy. Even when I read about using recycled boards from previous game. Which, by the way is horrible and lazy for a game with 1 billion dollars in sales. I still gave the campaign thumbs up. Then for online. Once again for comparison, Black Ops. It's online was awesome. Boards varied greatly from Nuke town to Jungle to Firing range then to Summit. All very different. Kept me playing for hours on end. But on MW3. I learned really fast that the boards were too similar. Most of them are all just jumbled up city boards. It would make it get boring fast. I could play for only a couple hours then be like ehhh. I also didn't care for the arrangement of weapons. They took all the fun out of claymores because then you couldn't have grenades. Way too long to prestige. I did like the support option with kill streaks. It let weak players have extra fun. Then for the horrible lag compensation or whatever it's called. This is ultimately what made me put away the game and move on. I don't know how many times I would run face to face with someone, blast him with about 8 shots from my ACR and then I'd get hit with 2 shots and die. Then you watch the replay and it shows me not even shooting. Then some games I'm blasting people everywhere. Sometimes it's not all skill but just what kind of lag your having. Then there's the knives. I find them pretty worthless in this one. They were a sure thing in Black Ops. But total crap in MW3. I almost always miss. Then the ones where you leap at the guy and knife him, supposed to be a definite kill. Still missed usually. All and all. Pretty good game. Way too much hype. You would think they would sink everything into it since they know they'll gross a billion. But oh well. Seems some game manufacturers shoot for hype to sell the game then produce just above average product. I found myself putting in Black Ops for my online fix.
