Call of Duty 5 is fun at first, but after a few days of playing, you figure out its not all what its cracked up to be.

When I first take this out of the box and start playing multiplayer mode, I got good thoughts about the game. Great perks and other options to choose from to create your favorite class. Multiple grenades, wide variety of perks, and decent weapons to start with. They give you great maps to hide in and the issue I will talk about later surprisingly doesn't apply to online multiplayer. Once you start playing the campaign mode for a while, you realize some annoying problems. First one small detail that gets on my nerves is the characters are annoyingly hard to tell apart from each other and I find myself aiming at my own soldiers. Another thing that I find a problem is that on some levels, on regular mode even, there is almost always someone shooting at you, no matter how many people you kill. The big issue though, is the technical difficulties. The lighting is terrible and on some levels you can't see the person until they are a few feet away. This sometimes makes it nearly impossible to play. This, as I said earlier, does not apply on multiplayer. This game is great for people who just play online multiplayer and don't focus on campaign, but if you like a good campaign mode spend your money on Modern Warfare Reflex or wait for Black Ops.
