My honest review of COD: W@W!

User Rating: 8.5 | Call of Duty: World at War PS3
At first, I rented this game because I wasn't sure if I would like it since I was not too fond of Treyarch's previous Call of Duty game. When I rented it, although it was different from Modern Warefare, I enjoyed playing this game more. It was sleek, smooth, and extremely fun to play.

Single player mode was fun. The story is set in WWII. Therefore, there is nothing there that you didn't already know (probably). There is a single player campaign, multiplayer, splitscreen, and it offers cooperative and competitive modes. In addition, it has the famous Zombie mode which I find myself playing constantly. It's packed with many and fun ways you could enjoy the game. The difficulty of the game is great, except when you come to Veteran mode. My advice is to save your soul. Save yourself the trouble, pain, and heartache because you will be spammed with grenades and sharpshooters like never before. You will experience death and the testing of patience like you've never experienced it before. If you believe yourself to be a patient person, please by all means, test how long your patience last.

The multiplayer mode is extremely addictive and fun. It is similar to that of Modern Warefare in my opinion. Yet, I simply enjoy this version more. The gun selection however in MW is much better since it's modern weapons and artillery.

The game is a must play for all COD fans and fans of FPS games altogether!
