Call of duty is an amazing first person shooter, with a massive single player story line and highly addictive and exciting multiplayer. The single player sees you start out fighting as the Americans, then British and finally Russian, all of the single player levels are fun and exciting. The multiplayer is seriously intense, although if more people could play in the same server it would be even better. When you have finished the single player you could try it in different difficulty settings or move straight onto the multiplayer ( far better if you ask me). the multiplayer can be challenging to begin with when you find a server with loads of very good players in it. The only faults i can find are there should be bigger maps with more people on it and a couple of glitches where you or an enemy/friendly bot gets stuck. A truly great game.
