an misunderstood game which bamboozled most of its viewers in the early 1990's, the game takes a little bit practice

the game play itself is pretty difficult , but fun to play with our old time favorite characters. it has approximately 5 stages, practically you just go around bashing enemies and fighting the stage bosses using their special abilities make the game more thrilling to play, for instance captain America can throw his shield numerous times, dashing forward with his shield and well that's mostly it. the characters can also punch, throw, and jump but that's about it.

comment: this game is all about seeing that the comic book characters come to life in a video game.

the option menu is to set your difficulty to easy, normal, hard and to extend your characters life from 3 to 5 lives. and the stereo sucks horribly the voices and music are just so badly put together, but thats snes for you.

the graphics for the snes is not so bad, but it seems that the counsel itself couldn't hold much megabits, but the graphics of the snes compared to the genesis was just mainly sad.

storyline and plot were mainly that the red skull is to build a laser cannon from the moon to destroy the earth and to foil our heroes plan to defeat the villain, the red skull mind controls other villains to fight the avengers, villains such as ultron in his classical form, the grim reaper, the mandarin, juggernaut, crossbones, living laser, the wizard, whirlwind, and so forth.

in conclusion the game is a blast to play but many faults as well, the stupidest part of the game is that its ending is just a writing of our heroes victory.
