Cartoon Network Punch Time Explosion XL is a great game, just because Nintendo made their own crossover fighting game (Super Smash Bros.) doesn't mean that no one else can make their own crossover fighting game. There are a bunch of famous Cartoon Network characters such as Dexter, Mac and Bloo, Billy and Mandy, Grim, Numbuh One, Father, Blossom, Bubbles, Buttercup, Mojo Jojo, Him, Samurai Jack, Aku, Johnny Bravo, Captain Planet and Ben 10 and more. There are also assist characters including Fuzzy Lumpkins, Numbuh Two, Madame Foster, Dee Dee, General Skarr, Gwen and plenty more. There's even a story mode that takes place in all of the levels and there's more to it than just fighting other characters. You can travel around jumping over obstacles, beating up random opponents and fighting bosses in the background. One thing I like about the game is that you can unlock clips from all of the shows that have a character in the game such as the keeper of the reaper song in The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, The theme song in Johnny Bravo, and Buttercup proving that she's stronger than Major Glory. You can also see the characters' bios and not just the playable characters but also the assist characters too. The levels are from different settings in each show such as The Kids Next Door tree house, the main hall in Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, and the Townsville rooftops. The only problem I have with the game is that not only are there are a few characters who I don't think should be I the game such as Toiletnator, Scotsman, Kevin 11, Vilgax, Teenage Ben 10, Hoss Delgado, and Monkey but, there are also few famous Cartoon Network characters that are missing, Courage, Ed, Edd, n Eddy, Cow and Chicken, and Weasel. This is a great game and highly recommend to every gamer.
