Castle Crashers: An Arcade Gamer's Dream Come True

I remember the first time I saw a screenshot of Castle Crashers and nearly leapt for joy. It's not often a game with this much creativity and style comes out with addictive gameplay to back it up. It brings back memories of days not to long ago at the skating rink where me and my friends would waste away our quareters on the good old Simpsons arcade game. Along with that its always relly awsome to level up your charaters and there's also tons of weapons and charcters. This $15 package proabably would get close to the same amount of gameplay as a regular $60 game. Not to mention you get a little something extra you don't usually get in games today. Genuine humor! A lot of the gags in this game had me and my friends rolling in the aisles (and by aisles I me the floor of my living room). Unfortunatley there are a couple of semi-major problems that keep me from giving this masterpiece a perfect score. The first is: this game is best in co-op. This wouldn't usually be a problem, I'm all for co-op, but what if your friends aren't around? well this would normally be fixed by the aspect of online gameplay but there in lies the real issue, the online sucks!!! I tried for at least 20 minutes to get in an online game and every time I would immeadeatly get booted or the game would get cancelled or some other dumb thing would happen. Otherwise, Castle Crashers is an amazing game with great style, gameplay, sense of humor, and best of all its extremely addictive and is worth every penny. Definatley grab a few buddies and check it out as soon as you get the chance.
