Unique doesn't even begin to describe Castle Crashers; fun, addictive and yes strange can all be used as descriptions of this beat-em-up experience. Castle Crashers has you assume the role of initially 1 of 4 knights to save your kingdom from a dark sorcerer. Depending on your choice of knight you have the choice of wielding acid, fire, ice and lightning. Along with the RPG element you can increase your skills such as strength, magic, speed and defense. You can also find or purchase weapons that enhance skill sets. Also you find pets that follow you and aid you in various ways. You use your skills to hack and smash barbarians, thieves, aliens, and pretty much anything that gets in your way. This game though resembling a Saturday morning cartoon is an entertaining experience that up to 4 can at the same time enjoy. And for about 10$ Castle Crashers is a fun addition to your arcade library.
