Castle of Illusion is a side-scrolling platform game starring Micky Mouse, but don't let that ruin it for you. Micky Mouse doesn't need to be there for the game to work. There is a wide variety of level types, so it doesn't get monotonous. The problem is, like many other games of this era, is that there is no save feature. The game is fairly long, with creative bosses, so until you die, it is very fun. The difficulty levels are more like level sets, as the levels are different for each difficulty.
The graphics are ok for a geneses game, but nothing special. The music is pretty good though.
Overall, this is a pretty good game that you should try and pick up if you can.
